At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Today I am grateful for the millions of people who gave their lives, in World War 2 and before, so that evil could be defeated and we could live in freedom.

My life is so comfortable in comparison.

And it’s healthy to remember that my life exists as part of a far bigger picture.

In the privileged position that I am in – being able-bodied living in this time – I am able to build from that; and use this opportunity to create ways to relieve suffering, and help others find meaning.
